Whole of School Survey
As part of our continuous improvement process, the school will be providing opportunities for parents, staff and students to provide feedback relating to their views of the school across a range of areas.
The research is being conducted by MMG Education, a specialist education consultancy that works with schools in the areas of strategic reviews and stakeholder satisfaction. Parents will be invited to complete questionnaires over a two week period later this term.
To ensure confidentiality, all responses will be de-identified; the data will be reported back in aggregated form only; and all data collected by MMG Education will remain under its control and achieved according to research protocols. The school will not be able to access it. At the conclusion of the research period MMG Education will provide the School Council with a report. I will then provide opportunities for the school community to receive feedback from the research.
The MMG Education Survey will be the catalyst for many new initiatives in the life of the school. I draw your attention to two of the priorities that will be addressed through the research conducted in the survey:
● the creation of a new strategic plan for Living Faith; and
● a full review of all items of the school uniform.
The Living Faith School Council has commissioned a Uniform Review Committee which has the following aims from its Terms of Reference: undertake a full review of all items of the school uniform; consider any changes to existing, or inclusion of new items, to the school uniform; make recommendations for a secondary uniform in the event of a school expansion; and include all stakeholders in the school community in the development of any changes to the school uniform.
More information about the new Strategic Plan and the Uniform Review will be communicated to all Living Faith families in the coming months. Parents will be reminded about the MMG Education Survey two weeks prior to its commencement.
I encourage all Living Faith families to have a voice in the upcoming MMG Education Survey and to be a part of the exciting future that awaits our school community.
Peace
Andrew Kelly
